Amendment on the Constitution
June 9th, 2008The Constitution was amended at the Extraodinary General Assembly on 31 May 08, in Jeddah. You can find the amended version through the “Corporate Information” section.
Awards Ceremony
June 6th, 2008During the Jeddah events, FCIC has honored past presidents by handing them awards: Eng. Slaheddine Bensaid (1986-1990), Eng. Yıldırım Gelgin (1990-1996), Dipl. Ing. Hassan El-Shafie (1996-2002), Dr. Yahya Hamza Koshak (2002-2004), Datuk Hj. Zakaria Bin Hashim (2004-2006).
Also, FCIC has handed an award to Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Ali - President of the Islamic Development Bank.
Extra Ordinary and Ordinary General Assembly
June 6th, 2008FCIC has conducted the Extra-Ordinary and 21st General Assembly Meeting on 31.05.2008, in Jeddah. Executive Committee and many members attended the meeting and new Executive Commitee election took place.
MOU between ICCI-FCIC
November 26th, 2007The Memo of Understanding between ICCI and FCIC was signed by Mr. Sheikh Saleh Kamel and FCIC President, Mr. Izzat Sajdi, on 15/11/2007 in Istanbul.
This MoU encourages the cooperation between ICCI and FCIC, and will provide the opportunity for FCIC members to work on the ICCI studies and consultancies through FCIC.

November 26th, 2007The Seminar was conducted on 12.11.07 in Istanbul and was a great success. Many members from abroad as well as the Turkish members were present to attend the full day program prepared and instructed by Mr. Khaled Al Kurdi, a professional consultant.
Muslim Excellence & Competitiveness Corporations’ Award (MECCAward)
August 2nd, 2007The award ceremony of 2007 MECCAward (Launched by Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industries affiliated to the Organization of Islamic Conference) is being held in a 1-day convention, on 12 th of August 2007, in the presence of 100 top-ranked Muslim companies, representatives of Chambers of Commerce, ambassadors of Islamic Countries, presidents of national/ international quality awards and representatives of OIC, ICCI and IDB, as well as the assessors of MECCAward 2007. FCIC is invited to the event, and our member, Consulting Engineering Center (CEC) is the holder of 2 National Excellence Award.

There were the presentations of Mr. Mamadou Daffe, Mr. Youssouf Sakho and Mr. Ameur Horchani. FCIC members, IDB executives and attendees from Senegal and nearby countries showed interest in the Seminar which took place on 28.05.2007, in Dakar, Senegal.
